Brett "Maddog" Banasiewicz will be making his first appearance at Simpel Session this February. This kid is just 15-year old and has insane bike skills. Brett finished 2nd at the Worlds this year right behind Daniel Dhers in Pro Mini. In addition to killing the Dew Tour and the Nike Tunnel Jam. We can only imagine where he will be in a few years. Brett also already has a very impressive long list of sponsors. This is his first time to Estonia and he is super excited about making it to Tallinn.

Legend Tom Penny Simpel Sessionil osalemine kinnitatud!

Legendary Status is something very few skateboarders will ever achieve, and it’s fitting that the calm, cool, and carefree Tom Penny did it without really trying. Hailing from Dorchester, England, when Tom began popping up in skateboard videos and magazines he did tricks with such style that people instantly took notice. Actually, the truth is that people kind of freaked. Out of nowhere Tom was doing tricks once thought impossible with such grace it almost seemed unreal. And as the attention grew and sponsors flocked to him, Tom didn’t really seem to be lured by the fans or money. He just kept skating, disappearing, reappearing, and always doing it like only the legendary Tom Penny could, which is why he will always be among the best out there from the beginning and beyond.
Tom is one of the original team members of Flip, and still rides for them. He's also a crucial part of Supra Footwear Company. His legendary video parts include Etnies High Five video, Transworld Uno, Life in the Fast Lane, Balance in the World of Chaos and more recently Flip Skateboards Sorry and Really Sorry.
His 95' Radlands Contest winning run is regarded as one of the best contest runs in history, and cemented his place forever in the upper ranks of Pro Skateboarding.

PS. Meie esimene Simpel Skatepargi avaüritus oli tegelikult 2000. aasta varasügisel, kuid sellest ajast pole kahjuks korralikku klippi.
Johnny Laytoni teine katse!

Eelmine aasta oli meie nimekirjas selline kuulus USA rulamees nagu Johnny Layton. Kõik oli paigas, mehel pilet olemas ning rula pakitud. Tegime Sessioni ajakirjas isegi Johnny'ga inteka. Kahjuks olid karmal omad mõtted ning Johnny murdis käe just nädal enne võistlust ning pidi reisi ära jätma.
Kuid J-Lay ei anna nii kergesti alla ning on tulemas Juubeli-Sessionile!
Johnny Layton on 24-aastane noormees otse Lõuna-Kaliforniast. Johnny on eelkõige tuntud kui striidimees ning võistlustel käib ta harva. Seda suurem rõõm on meil tervitada kutti SS10 raames Tallinnas! J-Lay on kutt, kes sõidab hästi transitionit, tal on väga hea lauatunnetus ja ta on switch tre-flipiga Carlsbadi gäppi teinud! Tal on väga head osad Toy Machine videotes "Suffer the Joy" ja "Good and Evil".
J-Lay on alates 2003. sõitnud Toy Machine'i ridades. Peale selle on tema sponsoriteks Vans, Active, Thunder trucks, Spitfire wheels, Bones Swiss ning Mob grip.
Tema üks tiimikaaslaseid Geoff Rowley on öelnud: "Johnny on Toy Machine meeskonna põrn. Ta anne on tänapäevane ja tema stiil on antiikne, nagu põrmu langeval inglil." Usu, Geoffi!

Diogo Canina is confirmed to ride at SS10! He is a riding buddy of Scotty Cranmer and is no stranger to the contest scene. The man has been winning big stuff in the States and all over the place. His collections include two X Games Superpark silver medals, gold in big-air BMX triples contest and bronze from the Dew Tour Panasonic Open in dirt discipipline
Diogo hails from Amparo Brazil, but is currently residing in Greenville NC - riding and training with guys like Colin Mackay, Ryan Nyquist, Dave Mirra and the rest of the legendary Greenville pros. Diogo is an incredibly talented rider and is also very friendly, respectable, humble and grateful for every opportunity he is given. Diogo is now living out his childhood dreams of living in the States, representing the companies he is proud of (Vans and Diamondback) and riding with and competing against the best pros in the world.
Simpel Session 09 was Diogo's first experience in our contest. But this years course is much more in Diogo's favour as he is more of a park and bowl rider. We're very excited to see what he will bring out this time.
